Parent’s rejection
The biggest reason why an inter-faith relationship is kept a secret is to avoid the fear of the parent’s reaction. Even when the parents ask whether you like him/her you always hear them say ‘make sure you’re just friends’. Your chances of even telling them you like them have just burst, let alone telling them you love them!
It’s actually fun
Let’s be honest, all the secret hideouts in public and making sure you don’t get spotted by any of your family members, is all a little adventurous.

If no one knows then know one will judge your relationship. An inter-faith relationship can be hard to accept for certain individual, others may be equally warming. It’s just a chance of win or lose.

If the parents don’t suspect a thing, then you will never be limited to going out all the time with your other half, as a friend of course.
